«inside out», MA thesis
A collection of ten booklets on the problematic of the images of suffering of others. The project inside out intended to create a space that may stimulate a reader/viewer into questioning visual images portraying suffering of others, without interference in anticipations/impositions of meanings and effects. Inside out denotes dualities that are based on the problematics highlighted in the research. These dualities are moral ambiguities regarding ethics and aesthetics in regarding and producing, using and make others see, visual images of suffering and pain of others; communication issues, the mutual understanding of something (as pain) only experienced as private; and culture and social norms towards the image.

Other projects part of «inside out» Master Project:
The image disappears with time through touch and use.
This is linked with the idea of a photograph fixing something in time somewhat permanently. When it is an image portraying a woman beaten and scarred i believe that to inprint a finger print on top of her and blur her image has an impact on the reader/user. This impact varies although his/her touch become part of the same image it is no longer indifferent to her (the image).
